It has been quite awhile since I have posted about doing a PROGRESSIVE SCRAP.  I love doing them.  This is the one I just finished over at DigiDesignResort [DDR].  We usually have 3-4 days to complete each step. This one was different in that we were to create a 'scene' layout.

The major rule in doing a progressive scrap is that once an item is placed on the page, it cannot be moved.  So you have to think ahead a bit to make sure you leave enough space/room to add more things.

Step 1 - You will have 3 days to complete this step.
You must use each of the following elements at least once.
You can repeat any of the elements, but they must be the same, except where I have said 2 different elements, both of those can be repeated.
For instance the ribbon that you choose, you can repeat that ribbon, not a different one

1 Paper (do not repeat, 1 paper only)
Grass
Tree
Step1
1 paper - Always the Sun - Sasika Designs
Tree - Painted Desert - Designs by Magnolia
Grass - Smell of Fall - ScrapAngie

Step 2
Fence
Path, Walkway (anything similar)
Box
Add Another Tree
Wagon

Step 2
Add Fence - Mediterranean Meander Mini by Studio4 Designs
Path - extracted from paper - Potpourri - Feli Designs
Box - Circus Scenes by Star Song Studio
Another Tree - duplicate of first tree
Wagon - extracted from an old photo of a hay wagon

Step 3 -
Can or Barrel
Another Tree
Ball
Fruit
Branch or Leaves
 Step 3
Another tree, basket and ball - Rejoice by Feli
Grapes and leaves - Gentle Spring by Feli
Note: ball, grapes and leaves are in the basket
and tree is behind large tree on right

Step 4 -
Berries
Flower
Animal
Net
One Photo - it can be framed, extracted or used with a mask
(This will be your choice)
Step 4
Berries- Winter Soul by Feli Designs
Flower - Beyond the Darkness - Lilia/Feli
Net - Beachcomber - Manu/Booland
 Extracted Photo - Great-granddaughter
Animal - her dog
Note: berries are in the box, net is on the wagon,
flowers are along the fence

Step 5 -
Lamp Post
Hat
Flag
Wordart, Journal or Title
Step 5 - final LO
Hat - Rejoice by Feli
Flag - Little Firecracker - Created by Jill
Lamp Post - Cabernet Vintage - Kreen
Title - MV Boli font
Note: flag is in the box, hat by the path, lamp post behind fence

Hope you enjoyed seeing how the page progressed over time.  Leave a comment to let me know if you would like to see more of these in the future.  Thanks.

Some changes in both real life and digi-scrapping.

Feburary was a long month with lots happening in the family including a visit from my youngest DD.  So no posting to the blog for awhile.

Due to the family situtations that required my attention and my bout with the 'bug', I did not do as much digi-scrapping as usual.  A few things have changed  there, too - I am now down to doing Creative Team work  just for Star Song Studios.

Watch for a couple of brand new kits coming from Star Song Studio this month.  Can't wait to show them off.

I did a bit of scrapping for challenges.   I am a Legacy Lady and hostess for 3 challenges at  GoDigitalScrapbooking.   These are the March layouts I made for the challenges:

March Lyrical Challenge - Scrap a song about March, Spring, St Pat's or Easter

My March Child
Kit: Magnifico by Verena Designs

March Scraplift Challenge based on Flowering Memories page by VictorianSoup
Purple Lady
Kit: Bouquet da Saudade by Marie Designs

March Font Challenge - Alex Brush font
Little Garden Angel
Kit: Bloom Where You Are Planted by Keystone Scraps

Would love to have you play along with us this month.
You can find the challenges here
You can find the kits I used here at the GDS Shoppe

Hopefully things have settled down a bit now so I can get back to posting here on the blog and doing some more digi-scrap challenges at several of the forums where I enjoy hanging out.  In addition to GDS, I play at DigiDesignResort, Scrapbooking Bytes, The Scrapbooking Studio, Gotta Pixel, Nuts4Digi and my newest one - PickleberryPop.

I have some fantastic new kits that I am anxious to use for more pages.  So, in addition to my CT work, I will also be posting other layouts that I have made on this blog.
